Designing Your Life

I love organizing, planning, and journaling. Several years ago I came across the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans and I immediately purchased it. The title had me hooked! I incorporated some of the tools into my journaling practice and that was the start of something magical. I started taking steps to design the life I was meant to live. A few years later I became certified in the Designing Your Life process.

Curiosity, bias to action, reframing, awareness, and radical collaboration are the five mindsets of a life designer. I just wrapped up the Designing Your Life coaching groups. The ladies ranged in age from 16-70+. They all had different backgrounds and had very different reasons for joining the group. The best thing was that they were all able to take the same tools and make them work for their situation. By the end of the six weeks, everyone had clarity and an action plan. Here is what Amanda had to say about the class:

What a fantastic experience! The group coaching was a game-changer. The best part was that in addition to receiving some MUCH-needed clarity on my next few years & the action steps involved (which was such an energizing relief from my old overwhelmed & paralyzed stance), I also got to GIVE input and helpful ideas to some of the other members of the group. What a satisfying & delightful journey. Leesa truly understood my multi-passionate nature & held unconditional space with firm boundaries for us all to create our own breakthroughs. Highly recommend!!
